Dorcas’ thin rapier could not withstand a full impact with Ganondorf’s broadsword, but Dorcas had no intention of it doing so. His rapier was matched to him perfectly. It was quick and precise, tailored to redirect its opponent’s excess energy rather than to deflect it.
